Loss of hearing

My brother (Attorney Peter Pearson) is deaf in one ear. Growing up I learned that if I wanted to be heard, I had to get around to his good side before speaking. He handles his hearing loss with grace, but often has to ask others to repeat what they just said.

We all take our hearing for granted. When something takes it from us we suddenly realize how numerous are the challenges we face. Depending on a person’s work and life situation, even a partial loss of hearing may cause them to lose their job, miss out on many social gatherings, be alone much more, and disqualify them from many activities they enjoyed before the loss. All of these issues must be carefully documented and proven to the insurance company before a fair and complete result can be reached.

Attorney Peter Pearson is located in Atlanta, but represents clients throughout the State of Georgia.
