Pro Deo

When most legal professionals think about devoting time to noble causes the words that come to mind are Pro Bono Publico (Latin which means "for the public good"). We embrace that value.

But the noblest cause of them all is Pro Deo. The Latin phrase means "for God". Our desire is to live for the glory of God. Above all else, we are servants of the Suffering Servant - Jesus Christ. Jesus commands and desires His followers to serve others - and His desire is our passion. For us, the practice of law is about working under God to serve the interests of our neighbors - and our neighbors are each and every client we are privileged to know.

We believe the best way to practice law is to be faithful to the call to "do justice" in the Bible. We rejoice in the marvelous knowledge that God has spoken! And He is still speaking to all who "have ears to hear." In the Bible, the very word of God, God speaks and urges us to rescue the helpless, care for the needy, rebuke the oppressor, fight for the truth, defend the poor, and speak up for those who can not speak for themselves. We believe that the noblest accomplishments in the legal field spring from those who live these truths from the word of God and have a living relationship with the Author of all Truth - Jesus Christ.
